Raymond I. Bruttomesso, Jr.
Ray Bruttomesso has over twenty years of intellectual property experience. He has worked as a patent attorney in the corporate environment, start-ups, general practice firms, and intellectual property boutique firms. He has counseled corporations, institutions, and individuals and provided legal services on all intellectual property matters. Ray has drafted over two hundred patent applications, prepared patentability and freedom to operate opinions, and drafted license agreements. In addition, he has handled trademark and copyright matters and supported litigation on various intellectual property related matters.
Ray speaks on intellectual property issues to groups ranging from elementary school students to university classes and professional organizations.

Ray is an Engineering Duty Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve and holds the rank of Captain. CAPT Bruttomesso was mobilized in 2004 to U.S. Joint Forces Command in support of Operation Noble Eagle. He was mobilized in 2012-2013 to NATO Training Mission-Afghanistan / Combined Security Transition Command – Afghanistan (NTM-A/CSTC-A) in Kabul, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
